New Delhi, Jan 13: Delhi Police have cracked the Rs 1 crore robbery case at a house in Surajmal Bihar, New Delhi carried out by a girl along with her boyfriend.

Initially, the cops had suspected that three robbers entered the house of Naveen Jain and absconded with Rs 5 lakh cash and several lakh worth jewellery by tying up his daughter.

Later, the police found that the locks of the door were cut from inside. Investigators had detained the servants of the house to get some lead, but did not find any conclusive breakthrough into the case.

However, cops got the main clues of robbery from the cctv cameras inside the house which showed none other than the time of robbery. Viewing the cctv footage, they came to the conclusion that somebody from the household could have been part of the robbery.

Police finally zeroed in on the house owner's daughter who broke down and confessed that she committed the robbery along with her boyfriend as her parents were not in support of their affair. Meanwhile, both have been arrested on charges of the robbery.
