After Kingfisher, Air India flights to be cancelled soon?
The cabin crew members of several international flights working with Air India showed a protest on Monday claiming that they have not been paid their salaries since last two months and also have not been given their sustenance allowance for last five months. Talking about the difficulties that the crew members have been facing since last few months, an official have been quoted as saying, "Since August we have been paying from our pockets for expenses incurred in foreign countries."
Another crew member, meanwhile, chided, "We have received zero salary since the last two months. We cannot afford to fly on international flights and pay for our lunch, dinner abroad any longer. We are not flying as we have no money to pay for food abroad."
