Airlines violating safety norms
New Delhi, Jan 9: Directorate General of Civil Aviation revealed in its audit report that all major airlines are violating the safety norms to cut costs.

Due to safety issue, the company has put all the airlines on notice. The DGCA has warned the low cost carrier like IndiGo, SpiceJet and Go Air for not following the data required for safe flights.

According to DGCA reports, JetLite did not possess software to monitor the Digital Flight Data Recorder or Blackbox. On the other hand, IndiGo carried out engine modifications to allow its Aircraft Airbus 320 to fly long haul.

DGCA has criticised IndiGo for not investigating the incidents properly and closing it without the DGCA's approval.
