Kushwaha calls it quits; will BJP accept his generosity?

Babu Singh Kushwaha
New Delhi, Jan 7: Sacked BSP minister Babu Singh Kushwaha, on Saturday, Jan 7 has written to BJP chief Nitin Gadkari to suspend his membership from the party, however, he had trumpet that he would urge his supporters to cast their vote for BJP.

This major political development follows Rahul Gandhi's announcement that Kushwaha approached Congress after being booted out of BSP by Mayawati but the party rejected as he was 'tainted'.

With Uttar Pradesh assembly elections around the corner, BJP inducting Mr Kushwaha was touted as a significant political goof up.

Mr Kushwaha was sacked by Mayawati as there was corruption complaints against the former. However, by picking up a charges smitten minister BJP invited Opposition to trash it's political image.

After all, BJP didn't have much of choices on Kushwaha, rather, showing him the door. But the big question is, whether, Kushwaha willingly restored to this decision or forced to do so?

Will Kushwaha's this move help BJP electorally in Uttar Pradesh? Only time can tell.
