Murder: Aarushi back to haunt her parents, Talwars shocked
The apex court on Friday declared that the famous doctor couple of Noida can not avoid court trial and should face court proceedings in the Supreme Court. However, the apex court, while delivering its decision on Friday, also claimed that its order should not be considered as a verdict against Aarushi's parents.
14-year-old Aarushi Talwar was found dead at her Noida home on May 16, 2008. Initially the needle of suspicion was pointed towards Hemraj, Talwar's servant. But soon Aarushi's parents came under the scanner when Hemraj's body was found on the terrace of the Talwar's residence on the next day.
Earlier in 2011, the Talwars had received a breather from the Supreme Court when it stayed the criminal proceedings against them. They were pronounced guilty by the Allahabad High Court.
Later the CBI, in its closure report, had accused her parents as the sole "killers". The CBI court also pronounced its verdict which pointed fingers towards the Talwars.
