Showing their concern for Anna's health, Kiran Bedi and Manish Sisodia - two key aides of Hazare urged the anti-corruption crusader to stop his fast on the very first day of the agitation which will be followed by a 'Jail Bharo Andolan' scheduled to start on Thursday, Dec 29.
"Anna is unwell, suffering from fever. Let's all urge him to stop fast," said Bedi on Tuesday adressing the crowd gathered at MMRDA grounds in Mumbai to support Anna in his protest.
However, earlier on Monday, Anna had overruled all speculations that he would retrieve his decision to continue with his three-day hunger strike. Anna on Monday, while leaving for Mumbai, said, "I will hold a dharna outside Congress president Sonia Gandhi and general secretary Rahul Gandhi’s house in New Delhi. I am ready to face lathis during this agitation. There are some people waiting to see that his agitation takes a violent turn and hence you should see to it that the agitation happens peacefully."
