Fast for Lokpal:Anna keeps distance with aam aadmi in Mumbai
This time around Anna has been maintaining distance with the aam-aadmi in the fast-venue. Team Anna members claimed that nobody would be allowed to come close to Anna who started his three-day fast on Tuesday.
Speaking about the immunity power while observing fast, aides of Anna said that Anna could be affected by viral infections and other ailments if anyone comes close to him who is fasting for a strong anti-corruption bill.
Here it can be recalled that when Anna staged his hunger strike for the first time at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, prominent people were allowed to meet and share the stage with him. When he staged his fast for the second time also, he shared the stage with political leaders, social activists, other orators who had attended his fast protest in Ramlila Maidan in Delhi.
The organisers reportedly have invested almost Rs 18,000 for dais which has been set up at the centre of MMRDA ground. The stage has been divided into three parts - Anna along with few key Team Anna members will acquire the central part while the other two parts have been allocated for media persons and for the persons who will entertain and scatter Anna's message to general people through dance, music and songs.
However, the organisers also have made arrangements to feed the supporters of the Gandhian. 'Poha' will be served in breakfast and 'puri-sabji' for lunch and dinner. Citing the other needs of the people gathered at MMRDA ground, Mumbai, the organisers provided three mobile toilets (2 for women and 1 for men). Two fire engines have been deployed at the ground to prevent any kind of accident.
