Team Anna slams on Digvijay's sarcastic comment

New Delhi, Dec 24: Team Anna member Arvind Kejriwal has lashed out at Congress General Secretary and Rashtriya Lok Dal leader Digvijay Singh after his sarcastic comment on the team members.

Singh commented that Team Anna was simply enjoying the fruits, while the old man was being harassed in the cold.

Replying back on the comment, Kejriwal said "Instead of passing a strong Lokpal Bill, he is questioning the intentions of Team Anna. For his information, this time, Team Anna Core Committee members will also sit on the fast."

While, Digvijay claimed that the demands made by the anti-corruption activists and the opposition leaders had already been incorporated in the Lokpal draft. He said that "All three demands made by him have been included. The Prime Minister is included within its ambit."

Singh suggested the team to "have faith in the judgment of the elected representatives of the people", and stated that they were "not targeting those" who were opposing the Bill.

Accusing the Team members, Digvijay said "They are targeting the Congress, that has, from day one, been trying to incorporate their demands. We are not scared of Anna. We will fight electorally." He criticized Anna's mission to visit the election-bound states and asking people not to vote for Congress.

Continuing his attack, he said that "Anna Hazare and his team have got political ambitions… We are not worried. We will present our case to the people. We will put forth our stand strongly."
