A meet to decide on the extension of the winter session to pass the four crucial bills that include the Citizen's Charter Bill, the Whistleblowers' Bill, the Judicial Accountability Bill and the Lokpal Bill, will be held by the Business Advisory Council on Wednesday, Dec 21.
Meanwhile, law minister Salman Khurshid said that they were trying to solve the Lokpal Bill issue and were in talks with other parties on how to solve the issue.
Anna Hazare has, however, decided to go ahead with his 3 day fast starting from Dec 27 followed by a 'jail bharo andolan'. He also rejected the proposed Citizens' Charter Bills and the Lokpal Bill.
"Beyond a point, we cannot respond to all of Anna's demands," said Salman Khurshid commenting that not all of Anna's demands can be met.
The Lower bureaucracy has been kept out of the Lokpal Bill and will come under the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC).
