Team Anna keeps Anna hungry while they feast: Digvijay

New Delhi, Dec 20: Congress leader Digvijay Singh in his tweet lashed out at Team Anna for being cruel towards the Gandhian.

"Team Anna is being very cruel to Anna. I strongly protest. They all keep 75-year-old hungry and have a gala feast at his expense," read his tweet on the micro-blogging site Twitter.

The Congress leader also criticised the team for shifting their venue to Mumbai from Delhi and said that the actual reason behind their shifting venue was not of cold weather, but fund gathering.

"Venue of Anna's fast shifted to Mumbai. Is the reason cold winter or a greater opportunity to raise funds for NGOs of Team Anna?" read his tweet.

Anna Hazare has been granted 15 days permission to fast at MMRDA Grounds in Mumbai from Dec 27.

Meanwhile, Anna Hazare who has been demanding for a strong Lokpal said that the Bill be passed by the Parliament before the food security bill is pass so as to ensure that the money spent on food reaches the deserved.

"Lokpal Bill should be passed before Food Security Bill. Then only the money meant for ensuring food security reaches the deserved or else this money will go into the pockets of parties, ministers and officers," said activist Arvind Kejriwal.
