Sharad Pawar's 'mentally unstable' slapper gets bail
He was granted bail on the grounds that he was 'mentally unstable'.
Harvinder Singh was arrested after he slapped the Agriculture Minister in New Delhi on Nov 24 and vented out his pent up frustration over inflation in the country.
"I would have killed him if I had my kripan today," he said after the incidence. He also threatened to kill politicians who were involved in corruption practices.
"The prices for all essential commodities have risen. Annaji requested for Lokpal but it did not work out. I'm not a terrorist as a terrorist would never take such a step. I'm fed up of all the corrupt ministers involved in various scams," he said.
Brushing aside the whole incidence Sharad Pawar said that such incidents should be forgotten.
"He has done it in media presence, it was a scuffle. It's a serious matter, but not sure whether he was a journalist or one amongst many who were there. We don't have to give much of an importance to this incident," said Pawar.
