Bangalore, Dec 16: Bangalore is all set to welcome the man of the moment, the one who had the guts to take on the government right by the horns over the controversial Lokpal Bill. Anna will arrive in the garden city on Saturday and will address enthusiastic supporters for a corruption free India at the Freedom Park.

Volunteers have started to spruce up the place and as many as 25 organizations will take part in the rallies that are expected to be led by thousands of people. The event will also see a cartoon exhibition showcasing the different avatars of Anna Hazare that will be inaugurated at the park.

As soon as he lands in Bangalore, Anna will be greeted by anti-corruption activists and freedom fighters in the city. Srinivas Allivilli of Saaku Corruption, one of the organizers of the event has been quoted as saying, "They will discuss the Lokpal bill and the way ahead for the movement. The Lokayukta issue will also be discussed at length, considering that Karnataka was an inspiration for a number of other states."

Anna will address the public in the afternoon on Saturday at the Freedom Park. A meeting among the volunteers of IAC is also planned. The organizers of the event failed to divulge on the number of people expected to attend the event.

Prithvi Reddy, Coordinator, IAC stated, "A number of organisations have called us to show their support. There will be at least 25 rallies from various parts of the city. A number of schools and colleges will also be taking part. But when it comes to a number, your guess is as good as mine. We simply do not know how many people will be coming to the Park on Saturday. But we are preparing to the best of our abilities.”
