CSI, the largest association of IT professionals in the country, annually confers CSI Awards to encourage innovation and indigenous development in the field of information technology for organizations operating across various sectors.
In the Banking Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) industry, among the 22 organizations which participated, Dhanlaxmi Bank was amongst the six which were short-listed. The bank was recognized for implementing innovative projects critical in nature for improvement of customer service, operational efficiency and return of investment.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Muralidharan R, Chief Operating Officer, Dhanlaxmi Bank said, “We have always believed in deploying enterprise solutions to aid organizational excellence. This CSI Award bears testimony to our commitment in implementing solutions critical for the overall business.” “The awards rightfully demonstrate industry recognition for Dhanlaxmi Bank’s enterprise initiatives and overall achievements,” Mr. Muralidharan added.
Earlier, in last month, the bank was also awarded the prestigious EDGE Award 2011 by New-York headquartered InformationWeek’s India unit for using information technology to transform its technology infrastructure and maximize business impact.
The Dhanlaxmi Bank was established in the year 1927 at Thrisssur, Kerala. The bank has 275 branches and 404 ATMs covering 140 centres across 14 states. The 84-year-old bank provides many customer centric services including retail banking, wholesale banking, microfinance and agricultural lending to small and medium enterprise groups.
