Fast for Lokpal: After PM, now Anna's hawk eyes on CBI

New Delhi, Dec 11: The Gandhian crusader, Anna Hazare began his one-day fast at Jantar Mantar on Sunday, Dec 11. Calling the movement as one of the "secular one" Anna's supporters also accompanied him after observing one-day fast.

Earlier Team Anna pressurised the government to bring the Prime Minister under the ambit of the Lokpal but this time it seems that their focus has been shifted to the investigative agency, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

The speculation came in the limelight when one of the main aides of Anna, Kiran Bedi said, "We don’t have to give up until CBI is brought under Lokpal. Everybody looks for benefits instead of service."

Crucial Team Anna members - Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Shazia Ilmi also started hunger strike demanding strong Jan Lokpal Bill and opposing the draft the government has recently tabled during the Parliament Winter Session.

Team Anna vowed to continue their battle against the government as Kiran Bedi said, "This may be very long battle but we have to fight it. We can't get tired and give up only in 14 months."

"We are not here to count numbers. We believe that Lokpal will bring good governance," added Bedi while speaking from dais addressing almost 300-400 people gathered at Jantar Mantar on Sunday.
