New Delhi, Dec 7: The Parliamentary Standing Committee head, Abhishek Manu Singhvi will be busy giving a final touch to the final draft of Lokpal bill during the meeting scheduled on Wednesday (today) evening with senior leaders of Congress party. The bill will be put before the House on Friday (Dec 9).

Earlier, on Tuesday (Dec 6) Singhvi had met Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman Hamid Ansari seeking two more days to table the Lokpal draft.

Meanwhile, standing committee has left the contentious issue of inclusion of Prime Minister under ambit of Lokpal to members of two houses. The parliamentary panel has virtually rejected Team Anna's demand for inclusion of CBI, Judiciary, officers of Group "C" and Group "D".

Team Anna claimed that majority of issues demanded by them have fallen outside the proposed Lokpal draft hinting at a long battle between government and Team Anna. Meanwhile, Anna Hazare will observe a day-long fast on Dec 11 at Jantar Mantar for keeping out Group C and D from Lokpal Bill.
