New Delhi, Dec 6: Rubbishing allegations that former Telecom Minister A Raja did not want to move bail as he felt safer in jail, his counsel said that Raja was only waiting for the right time to move bail.

Suhil Kumar, Senior Advocate said that they would move bail only after the Delhi High Court decides the fate of former Telecom Secretary Sidharth Behura.

"Since Raja and Behura have been clubbed in a separate category, it would be wise to see what is the outcome of Behura's bail plea. Even I will not advice my client to move bail before that. What is the need?" asked Kumar.

"Even I heard these stories. These are just rumours," said Kumar talking about Raja not moving his bail as he felt "safe" in Tihar Jail.

Soon after DMK MP Kanimozhi was granted bail in the 2G spectrum case, Raja's counsels said that they would seek bail immediately.

The CBI had earlier said that Raja, his secretary RK Chandolia and Behura were the main conspirators in the case and their case was different than those involved in the case and were granted bail later on.

The High Court had earlier reserved its order on the bail plea of Behura. Chandolia has been asked to appear before the court on Dec 7 after the court issued notices to him and CBI.
