Strong evidence found in Bhanwari Devi case: CBI

Jaipur, Dec 5: The CBI claimed that they have collected some clinching evidence to put together the missing links in the alleged Kidnap and murder of auxiliary nurse Bhanwari Devi.

CBI is said to have collected the receipt of a garment showroom from where Sohan Lal Bishnoi bought a shirt for himself after his shirt got torn allegedly while strangulating Bhanwari. Sohan's shirt has been sent for forensic examination. They have also picked up the housekeeping staff of Jodhpur Circuit House as witnesses. The agency have gathered the call details made among the accused after they saw Bhanwari's news in the Television. They were constantly in touch with each other.

Apart from Jodhpur, CBI team had also rushed to Abu Road to collect evidences against the accused.

"Calls were made 21 times between Maderna and Sahi Ram over three days after the news channels picked up the story regarding the CD. The call volume between the two had never been that much earlier.

"CBI has got people who saw the accused at a tea stall, a petrol pump and some other places. Besides, CBI must also have some witnesses to prove that a Scorpio was also there to collect Bhanwari's body from Sohan Lal and other abductors," said an officer.
