Aarushi Murder case: SC to decide Aarushi's parents future

Aarushi Talwar
New Delhi, Dec 2: The Supreme court on Friday will decide if Aarushi Talwar's parents need to obey summons from a court that has declared them the prime accused in the murder of their daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj.

The investigating agency had stated in the court that it wanted to close the case as it didn't have enough evidence against anyone linked to the case. However, the CBI believes that Rajesh Talwar is behind the murder of his daughter.

14-year-old Aarushi was found dead with her throat slit at the family's Noida residence on the outskirts of Delhi on May 16, 2008. The domestic help, Hemraj was also found dead on the terrace a day after Aarushi's murder. The UP police had accused and arrested Rajesh Talwar, Aarushi's father over the case before the CBI took over the investigation.

Special Judicial Magistrate Preeti Singh, over two years back, had concluded that Rajesh and Nupur Talwar should be put on trial for killing their daughter and servant.
