UP: Mayawati vows to smash Congress, Rahul with Elephant

Lucknow, Nov 27: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Mayawati conducted a mass-rally at Ramabai Park in Lucknow on Sunday, Nov 27. As a part of her preliminary campaign ahead of the assembly election in the state, Mayawati addressed the people gathered at the park.

Claiming of continuing her reign in the state, Mayawati vowed to smash defeat Congress and other opposition parties in the upcoming assembly poll which will be conducted in 2012.

Criticising Rahul Gandhi's simultaneous election campaign in several parts of the state, BSP supremo said, "The Congress is worried about the BSP's power and governance. They are so worried that now even Rahul has to come to UP for campaign, when the current Parliament session is on."

Mayawati also slammed the Congress leader for his criticism the BSP symbol over corruption issues. Here it can be recalled that Rahul recently said that the elephant in UP was eating away all the money meant for poor.
