Nagpur: Minor girl raped in autorickshaw, delivers baby

Nagpur, Nov 25: A 15-year-old minor girl delivered a baby girl at Mayo hospital in Nagpur. The girl accused a 20-year-old boy, who is her neighbour, of taking sexual advantage of her.

The victim claimed that she was once lured with an offer of a ride in auto-rickshaw and was raped in the vehicle when the accused parked the auto in a deserted place. The boy also has been accused of threatening the victim and has been visiting the girl's residence after committing the crime for the first time.

The victim, whose parents stay apart, stays with her grand-parents. The girl was taken to the hospital following labour pain and delivered a baby girl.

Police already started searching for the accused who absconded from the place. However, the police also suspected that the girl is mentally disturbed.
