President's three-day visit to Jammu begins on Friday

Jammu, Nov 24: President Pratibha Patil will address students at the third convocation of Shri Mata Vaishnodevi University here as part of her three-day visit to Jammu, which begins on Friday, Nov 25.

Security has been beefed up in the city and venues where she is scheduled to visit have been sanitised and closed, officials said.

The President will address students at the convocation ceremony of SMV university in Kakryal varsity campus at Katra tomorrow.

She is scheduled to visit the ancient Ragunath temple complex and inaugurate the meditation and spiritual centre set up by Shri Mata Vaishnodevi Shrine Board.
