Katrina Kaif 'most dangerous Indian celeb' in cyber world
The actress's name is being used by cyber criminals as a favourite keyword that exposes computers to malicious software, revealed a report by McAfee, internet security company.
According to the company, fans searching for the name of the celebrities using keywords like "name of the celebrity" along with the words like "free download", "screen savers", "videos" and "hot pictures" are at a risk of landing themselves into websites with online threats and malicious software.
McAfee in its research found out the most famous people and revealed the most high-risk actors, politicians and sportsmen.
"In a celebrity crazy country like India, cyber criminals find it very lucrative to use the names of popular figures as keywords to lure people to sites with malicious software. This year's study found movie stars top the most dangerous list, while sports stars and politicians are among the safest," said Venkatasubrahmanyam Krishnapur, Senior Director, McAfee India.
