New Delhi, Nov 23: Delhi police arrested a man who acted as a henchman of famous underworld don, Dawood Ibrahim. The arrested man, who is a postgraduate in management, allegedly threatened to kill a Delhi based businessman and his family if he (the businessman) denies to give Rs 1 crore to the accused.

Police arrested Dawood's fake aide when he was accepting the first installment of Rs 50,000. Police recovered the cell phone which was used to threaten the businessman.

The Police official has been quoted as informing, "On Monday, the complainant agreed to pay the first instalment after informing the police. "We asked a policeman to pose as the shopkeeper. The accused came after 15 to 20 minutes asking for the bag containing the money, and was arrested," added the official.

The accused, who has been identified as Vivek Singh, was an ex-employee of the complainant and he claimed to have completed MBA in 2008 from National Institute of Business Management, Chennai and then did post graduation from YMCA, Delhi.
