Rly Min announces compensation for Howrah-Dehradun mishap
Dinesh claimed that the other passengers who were injured in the B-1 and B-2 AC coaches will get Rs 25000 as an immediate financial assistance for the inconvenience caused due to the fire.
The fire which broke out around 3 am in the B-1 AC coach immediately spread to B-2 AC coach and killed seven passengers out of 128 passengers in the two coaches. The fire was spotted between Gomo and Nimiaghat railway stations.
Dhanbad DRM and a railway medical team have made medical arrangements for the stranded passengers on the site.
