Mumbai, Nov 18: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan always makes headlines with new controversies and rumours about him. This time around, he grabbed attention not for an act committed by him, but for his image that was pasted in some other person's application form.

It appeared that Salman Khan applied for a job for the post of Police constable but the real story shocked Manohar Dilip Sansare, a job aspirant ahead of his physical test in the Police selection.

Sansare was ready for the physical test which was scheduled to be held on Nov 11 but just a day ahead he was informed that Salman Khan's image was pasted in his (Sansare's) online application form.

"Initially I thought it was just a prank, and laughed the matter off. An hour later, another friend called me, with the same bizarre news. Alarmed, I decided to check my application online, and rushed to a cyber cafe. At first I thought the entire thing was funny. But since we had a physical test and document attestation scheduled for November 11, the next day, I got worried," Mid DAY quoted Sansare as saying.

The victim, explaining his shock over the incident said, "I hurried to the commissioner's office in Ulhasnagar, and informed the officials there about the strange error in my application form. An official spoke to the recruitment officer in Worli, who assured me that I would be allowed to appear for the physical exam the next day."

Despite the police commissioner's consolation, Sansare was barred from participating in the test and was left to wait for four long hours at the police station. However, after a long wait of almost four hours, Sansare was allowed to take part in the physical test.
