Amar Singh and Sudheendra Kulkarni
New Delhi, Nov 16: The Delhi High Court on Wednesday, Nov 16 granted bail to all accused and whistle-blowers in the Cash-for-votes scam. After Amar Singh, BJP's Sudheendra Kulkarni along with six other persons have been granted bail over the scam which had rocked the Parliament in 2008 ahead of the trust vote for Ind-US nuclear deal.

All accused have been allowed to go out of the jail but have to pay a surety bond of Rs 2 lakh each. Earlier, one of the main accused in the scam - former Samajwadi Party leader, Amar Singh was granted bail and was allowed to go abroad for better treatment.

Delhi High Court's decision of allowing Amar Singh to go out of jail was criticised by opposition parties, especially by BJP. However, the party (BJP) on Wednesday welcomed the high court's decision of granting bail to all as there were three BJP leaders among the ones who were granted bail.

Kulkarni, one time right hand of senior BJP leader LK Advani, had appeared before a Delhi court seeking interim bail but was denied and sent to judicial custody.
