Missing Bhanwari; Rs 10 lakh reward for info
The 36-year-old auxiliary nurse-midwife, who was posted at a sub-center in Jaliwada village went missing on Sept 3 after a video clip exposed her in a compromising position with Cabinet minister Maderna.
Meanwhile, Rajathan High Court rapped the CBI for the slow pace of the investigation in the case. "The information may be given at CBI Camp Office, Circuit House, Jodhpur (Rajasthan) on phone numbers: 09530346277, 09530346277, 02912513315, 01124368641. The identity of the informer will be kept confidential," said the spokesperson for CBI.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had grilled the dismissed Rajasthan Health Minister, Mahipal Maderna for two times over his alleged involvement in Bhanwari Devi case. The minister has admitted to having had a relationship with the 36-year-old auxiliary nurse-midwife. Later, on Nov 12, he was admitted to hospital where he is undergoing treatment for "marginal blood pressure and mild chest pain".
Meanwhile, the investigating agency did not achieve any major breakthrough in the Bhanwari Devi disappearance case. With Bhanwari missing for this long and no clues on her whereabouts and her body not recovered, the fingers are pointing more and more towards Maderna.
