Bhanwari Devi case: Ex-Raj Min admits affair, sex CD exposed

Jaipur, Nov 11: The investigating agency Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday, Nov 11 will continue its grilling the former Rajasthan Health Minister, Mahipal Maderna over the missing nurse, Bhanwari Devi case. Despite admitting of having relationship with the victim, Maderna will be quizzed again as rape, kidnap and murder charges were also hurled against him.

Meanwhile, TV reports started airing a CD which according to the television channels, features Bhanwari Devi and Maderna in a compromising position. Earlier it was reported that Bhanwari Devi might have been kidnapped and murdered as she had blackmailed Maderna and many other ministers in the state with such sex CDs. However, the visuals in the TV was not clear but the channel authorities claimed that the couple in the CD were Maderna and the missing nurse Bhanwari.

Maderna was sacked on Oct 16 after more and more reports emerged of his involved in the Bhanwari case. The Minister was alleged to have had an illicit affair with Bhanwari. [Read: Maderna admits affair with Bhanwari]

With Bhanwari missing for this long and no clues on her whereabouts and her body not recovered, the fingers are pointing more and more towards Maderna.
