Bhanwari case: Aide admits to kidnapping; CBI grilling on

Jodhpur, Nov 11: With the Bhanwari Devi case taking a turn for the worse, former Water Resources Minister Mahipal Maderna's woes seem to be increasing by the day. After the first round of grilling, CBI has summoned Maderna for the second time around. Meanwhile, the court has ordered brain mapping of Shahabuddin, a close-aide of Maderna who is in judicial custody presently. It was also reported that Shahabuddin had confessed to the kidnapping of the nurse.

Maderana had earlier admitted to having had an affair with the missing Bhanwari Devi who was an auxilliary nurse and midwife. Bhanwari has been alleged to have blackmailed him with a sex CD that showed Maderna and Bhanwari in a compromising position.

The CBI who is probing the matter has also summoned Congress MLA Malkhan Singh Bishnoi in regards to the case. The investigative agency have also seized a camcorder and a computer that might hold important clues on the missing case of the nurse.

There are rumors doing the rounds that Bhanwari Devi was murdered and her body disposed off. The CBI also believe the same with suspicion of Bhanwari Devi handed over to a gang of Lohavat historysheeter Vishnaram. Bhanwari Devi has been missing since September with her husband Amarchand alleging that she might have been kidnapped by Maderna.

After the first round of questioning, Maderna is understood to have given vital information after being confronted by suspect statements, call records, details of his meetings with Bhanwari Devi, Sahiram as well as other recent recoveries.
