Pune: Six youths booked for murdering a college student
The six accused attacked Sanket Ingle, the victim when he was returning back to his home along with his friend Varad on their motorcycles at around 10.45 pm. Varad was also injured but he managed to take his friend to the Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial hospital in Pimpri. But Sanket was declared dead. The accused first beat them, then one of them stabbed Sanket in the chest.
The accused were Arvind Kamble, Vivek Kalbhor, Kiran Kandhare, Sumit Jagtap, Amol Sonawane and Ajay Kalbhor.
Sanket was a second year student of bachelor of computer applications in Chinchwad. His father works in the Regional Transport office. Sanket used to study on the terrace of his hostel,where two months back he had an argument with Kamble's domestic help, Kandhare, said Nandkishore Bhosale Patil, the senior inspector.
"Since then, the duo used to often quarrel with each other.On Monday evening, Kandhare and Sanket decided to meet at Bijlinagar to thrash out of the matter. One of the accused, Vivek Kalbhor, was also present. After that, all of them came to Akurdi, where Kandhare and Sanket again had a quarrel," said Patil.
