Swami Agnivesh to throw light on gender bias in Big Boss 5

Swami Agniveesh
Mumbai, Nov 8: Swami Agnivesh, the latest entree to the Big Boss house has expressed his concern over the "pathetic condition" of the girl child in the society and said that he would make the women of the house aware of the same.

"The girls inside the house don't seem to have any social responsibility," said the 72-year-old activist.

"I want to make them realize just how many girl children are killed in the womb and how many women are burnt alive in the name of sati," he added.

Meanwhile, talking about his fall out with Anna Hazare, Agnivesh said that several people were against Anna Hazare and what was being said by Raju Parulekar, his official blogger with whom he had a spat, was true.

"Several others have gone against Anna and that is because of the people around him. There is a lot of truth in what Raju Parulekar is saying," he said.

Anna Hazare had a fall out with his official blogger Raju Parulekar, who accused Team Anna members of leading the septuagenarian into a "blackhole" for their own vested interest.
