Adidas said that it did not have evidence that its consumer's data was affected but keeping in mind the safety and protection of visitors was taking down the affected sites.
The incident was discovered on Nov 3, said a statement from Adidas, reported the BBC.
The sport apparel giant also said that it has taken additional security measures and has started to re-launch its website.
"Nothing is more important to us than the privacy and security of our consumers' personal data," said the company in the statement.
"We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time," it added.
