Black Goats
Jaipur, Nov 7: Muslims celebrated Eid Ul Zuha (Bakri Eid) world-wide on Monday, Nov 7. Goats have been sold out at high prices in all markets. But in Jaipur, 'Shahrukh', 'Salman' and 'Saif' were sold.

Don't be surprised. To get the real story, just read on. It was not the real Bollywood heroes but goats with the names of the superstars that were sold at Jaipur market.

According to sources, names and prices of the goats were fixed as per the weight of bakris (goats). Shahrukh and Salman are said to weigh between 100 to 125 kg, while Saif weighs 80 kg.

Deccan Herald quoted Omar Bhai, a native of Tonk district, who habitually names all his goats after film actors as saying, "Last year I sold Aamir Khan, weighing 125 kg, for Rs 1.5 lakh. However, this year Shahrukh and Salman seem to be at the top. I am hoping to get Rs 5 lakh by selling Shahrukh and Salman for Rs 2 lakh each, considering their popularity after 'Dabang" and 'Ra.One'."

According to the religious custom, the sacrificial goat has to be selected carefully and has to be strong, healthy and should not have any deformities.
