The incident took place when the victim, a divorcee accompanied Prakash Gurjar, the accused from Sodala to Chandwaji on the Jaipur-Delhi highway.
"Both had worked together for a catering firm. After reaching, Chandwaji, the accused invited two of his friends to the place where the trio, after getting drunk, raped the woman in turns," said Vineet Bansal, additional superintendent of police, Jaipur (rural).
"Later, they left the woman in the jungle and fled," the officer said.
The victim, after coming back to her senses, went ahead and complained to Chandwaji police station and narrated the whole incident.
"We have sent her for medical examination. Preliminary reports suggest she was raped," he said.
The police succeeded in arresting Prakash and his friend Rakesh Gurjar and a case under Section 376 of IPC has been registered against them.
"The hunt for the third accused is on," said Bansal.
