Carpet snake: Google fetes Oz poet's B'day with Doodle
Noonuccal, who left school at the age of 13, was also known as a political activist, artist and educator. She wrote the poems Municipal Gum and Understand Old One.
According to Wikipedia, Noonuccal's father instilled a fierce sense of justice in his daughter, with whom he shared the dreaming totem Kabul (the carpet snake).
Google captured that old myth while celebrating Noonuccal's birthday with Doodle. It depicts the Doodle with its logo along with an image of a snake with a colourful background.
Google always comes up with innovative Doodles reminding its viewers about special events, days, occasions, life of great artists and scientists.
