"Nationalism and culture are basis of BJP and Lord Rams temple is a priority of the party. From national perspective it is a national issue for us," said the party national vice-president.
"An effort will be made to create common consensus. Probably, if our strength increase we may frame law .To pave way for the construction of a temple,"he said.
He further said that it was the duty of each and every BJP leader that a grand Ram temple is reconstructed again.
"We have to see that how this opportunity arises.Whether we are in power or not efforts in this direction will continue,"he said.
"We are continuously making efforts in this direction and there is no confusion in it. But it (this step) is not being anti-Muslims as well,"said Kalraj.
He further said that there was no need for the workers to worry under whose leadership the elections would be contested.
"Who is contesting election or who is not is not important. The important thing is that which person has been given the party symbol,"he said.
"Whoever the party will decide will be the leader. This is the thing which makes BJP different from others,"he said.
"A sense of collective working is lacking in the current political scenario. In BSP there is only one leader Mayawati and in SP only Mulayam Singh Yadav. Since Jan Sangh days BJP workers have been working with a sense of collectivity."
He also said that both the state and centre governments failed to have a sense of responsibility.
"Individual gains are being given priority leading to corruption and scams. There is complete anarchy at the Centre and the state,"he alleged.
