Kiran Mazumdar, who was invited in the inaugural ceremony of the Namma Metro, has been pushed out of the rail allegedly by political party workers.
The Chairman and Managing Director of Biocon (One of India's largest Biotechnology company), tweeted from her personal Twitter account stating, "Was invited for the Namma Metro inaugural ride but was pushed aside by chamchas of politicians!Took an auto ride instead-cdn't get to mycar!"
Bashing the rude political party workers, Mazumdar also stated, "I wish party workers wd stop behaving so badly at public events. Netas must control this disgraceful frenzy like at Namma Metro inaugurtn."
Such shocking and pathetic incidents are enough to destroy the initial excitement of the Bangaloreans for whom the Metro is the early Diwali gift.
Here it can be recalled that many well-known politicians and famous personalities attended the inauguration function on Thursday. Karnata Chief Minister, Sadananda Gowda along with former Union Law Minister Veerappa Moily; Union Railway Minister, Dinesh Trivedi; Minister of State (Railways), KH Muniappa were present at the ceremony. Senior BJP leader, Arun Jaitley also experienced the first ride in Namma Metro.
