Team Anna, in spite of the differences within the group, is determined to induce more hurt to the already damaged reputation of the Congress-led UPA government.
Kejriwal has been quoted as saying, "The Prime Minister has written a letter to Anna Hazare that a strict Lokpal Bill will be tabled in the Winter session (of Parliament) and believing his assurance we will wait till then. If the bill is not passed in the Winter session, Anna Hazare will come to Uttar Pradesh and appeal to people not to vote in favour of Congress."
Intending to go on an anti-Congress campaign once again, Kejriwal said that the Jan Lokapl Bill states two important factors, one being that the complaint should be disposed in a time bound manner and the second that if an officer is found guilty, he should be jailed and his property be seized.
Kejriwal also said that Anna had asked for the Lokpal services to be time-bound or else the Lokpal would deduct the salary of the officer investigating the same and treat it as a compensation that will be paid to the user. The Congress was not in agreement to this proposition.
