Bail plea reserved till Oct 24, Amar Singh bored in AIIMS?
It seems that the former Samajwadi Party leader might have got bored in the AIIMS Hospital where he has been admitted.
Amar Singh's counsel had sought an interim bail for the cash-for-votes accused MP on the grounds that Singh underwent kidney transplant and was suffering from a urinary tract infection adding that his client was "a sick and infirm person".
Amar Singh is currently undergoing treatment at AIIMS after medical reports that were submitted to High Court reported that the former Samajwadi party leader was suffering from diabetes and other ailments.
"He needs to be constantly monitored for renal function, infections and if he is travelling he should be under the supervision of nephrologist, a dialysis technician, a nurse and use ambulance/air ambulance for emergency," said a report by Sanjay Gupta, Additional Professor Doctor, AIIMS' Department of Nephrology.
