New Delhi, Oct 18: With Congress pushed to a distant third in Hisar bypolls, Anna Hazare said the party should take cue from the result and ensure passage of Jan Lokpal Bill in winter session of Parliament or else he would personally campaign against it in upcoming Assembly elections.

Hazare warned that the condition of Congress "would worsen" further if it does not learn a lesson from the poll debacle in Hisar.

"If the Congress still has not learnt a lesson from these polls then the condition would worsen further hence Congress should take a cue and pass the Jan Lokpal Bill in the winter session," he said in his latest blog posting.

"Hisar saw Team Anna's workers campaigning for the anti-corruption cause but next, for the Assembly elections, it will be me, Anna Hazare, who will personally rally for the cause. I feel it is necessary for the well-being of the society and the nation at large," he said.

He said Congress should stop blaming Team Anna and instead take strong steps for creating stricter laws against corruption in the ensuing winter session.

"It is becoming difficult for the common man to survive because of corruption. The denial for Congress arises out of people's enduring capacity which has crossed its limit," he said.

Haryana Janhit Congress chief Kuldeep Bishnoi, who was supported by BJP, won the Hisar bypolls defeating INLD's Ajay Chautala. Congress' Jai Prakash was in the third position.

Team Anna had campaigned against Congress in Hisar after the party refused to give an undertaking that it will support Jan Lokpal Bill in Parliament.

The decision to oppose Congress in the bypolls did not go down well with some sections as they argued that the Team had earlier set Winter Session of Parliament as a deadline for the passage of the bill.
