Sick Yeddyurappa to remain in hospital, to seek bail today

Bangalore, Oct 17: Tainted ex-chief minister of Karnataka, BS Yeddyurappa who has been hospitalised following ill health will seek bail today, said reports.

BS Yeddyurappa was arrested after his name was indicted in a land denotification case on Saturday, Oct 15 by the Lokayukta and sent to judicial custody till Oct 22.

Yeddyurappa was hospitalised after he complained of chest pain and vomited in the jail. The BJP leader is currently admitted at the Jayadeva hospital, Bangalore and will be kept under observation for the next 24-hours.

The BJP, which was shell shocked after his arrest, said that it would fight his case legally adding that the party would continue to support him.

Several minister's along with the Chief Minister of Karnataka, Sadananda Gowda rushed to visit the ill minister at the hospital.
