Tour operators across the city are predicting that their business would kick start after the Diwali vacations after the coverage of Sachin's new Bandra house's coverage in papers will bring in curious fans to the cricket star's residence.
Apart from the various monuments and heritage sites, megastar Amitabh Bachchan's will also be on the list of itinerary.
"We are sure that there will be a huge demand to see Tendulkar's bungalow. For cricket fans, his home will be like visiting Mecca and all his fans would love the chance to catch a glimpse of him," said Sunil Savla, proprietor of Neeta Travels.
"We are sure that tourists would demand a glimpse of Tendulkar's home. As of now we are working out if it is possible to halt near his bungalow," he said.
A tour operator however said that the traffic police in 2009 said that the permission to halt at Amitabh Bachchan's bungalow was stopped as it caused traffic congestion.
"We hope that at least for Tendulkar's bungalow, we are permitted to halt for a while," said a tour operator.
