Expressing his opinion, Anna on Friday said, "We will decide if Bhushan would be part of Team Anna." The stunning statement came from the 74-year-old Gandhian crusader when Mr Bhushan was bashed brutally over his (Bhushan's) comment on Kashmir and referendum.
Criticising Bhushan over his controversial remark, Anna said, "I will tell Prashant Bhushan that if he is giving an opinion on a subject, he can give it in his personal capacity. If he is giving the team's view, he should speak to the team before."
Without trying to hide any difference with Mr Bhushan, Anna said, "Prashant Bhushan's views on Kashmir are wrong. We do not endorse Prashan Bhushan's statement on Kashmir."
However, another social activist, Medha Patkar claimed that Team Anna has not been facing any differences over Kashmir statement. "The team will be remain intact," said Patkar after her meeting with Anna on Friday.
Mr Bhushan, a Supreme Court lawyer, was attacked by three persons who barged into his chamber in the Supreme Court. They brutally beat and dragged Mr Bhushan who fell on the floor.
The lawyer, in an interview, had said that Kashmiri people should be given 'azadi' if they don't want to live with India and also reportedly recommended the withdrawal of Indian army from Kashmir.
