PM presiding over corruption tainted govt: JD(U)
"The PM is is presiding over a corruption-tainted UPA government...Due to lack of leadership in tackling corruption, the country is facing its worst ever crisis," he told a public meeting at Gandhi Maidan organised by BJP as part of its senior leader L K Advani's ''Jan Chetna Yatra'' for good governance.
"The PM is simply not taking any steps to tackle corruption that has mired the UPA government, particularly in its second stint," Yadav said.
Whatever action the Centre has taken in the corruption cases, including setting up a JPC to probe the 2G Spectrum scam, has been due to sustained campaign by the opposition, the JD(U) chief said.
