2G:Chidambaram relieved, SC reserves hearing on Swamy's plea
The whistle-blower and Janata Party chief moved the apex court demanding investigation by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on the home minister.
Swamy claimed that the then finance minister, Chidambaram was aware about then telecom minister A Raja's activities allocating 2G spectrum in 2008.
Meanwhile, a RTI letter exposed Congress' Pranab Mukherjee's letter to the Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh. Mr Mukherjee's letter, however, reiterated Swamy's allegations against Chidambaram.
On Monday, the Supreme Court reserved the hearing which may bring relief for the home minister for the time being.
