Mukherjee along with A K Antony, P Chidambaram and Ghulam Nabi Azad met Kiran Kumar Reddy, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Union Ministers from the state and said "The consultations (within the Congress) will end on Monday."
When asked when a decision on the issue would be taken or the issue would be resolved, he said that he cannot give any "time frame" for the same.
Meanwhile, the loss incurred by the Telangana agitation has turned to over Rs 14,000 crore which has entered its its 28th day today.
The Telangana Joint Action Committee has also decided to start another rail roko programme from Oct9-Oct11.
The Telangana agitation sure will affect the entire Andhra Pradesh in long run as the agitation will affect and block major roads, impact the production of coal and the neighbouring states depending on Telangana for sugar and rice will also suffer badly.
