No president's rule in Andhra Pradesh: Congress

New Delhi, Oct 8: The Congress Party on Saturday, Oct 8 have clarified that there will be no president's rule in Andhra Pradesh on account of inconvenient situation in the Telangana region, where the agitation for a seperate state continued for the 27th day on Saturday (Today).

After attending a high level meeting with chief negotiator and Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy and state and central leaders, the Unioin Health Minister and in-charge of the Congress affairs in Andhra Pradesh, Ghulam Nabi Azad said that "There is no question of president's rule for the moment."

Azad also added that "Today's meeting is a part of the consultation process," and further said that the solution for seperate sate may not found "in a day or two". Earlier, the health minister has submitted the party central leadership report on the situation in the Andhra Pradesh.
