A Raja
New Delhi, Oct 7: Former Telecom Minister, A Raja has been left disappointed once again when the special CBI court rejected his plea to argue in person in the Supreme Court on Friday, Oct 7.

Raja earlier on Wednesday moved the Patiala House Court asking permission to appear in the apex court on Monday, Oct 10. The former telecom minister had claimed that he (Raja) would present the argument over 2G spectrum scam better than his lawyers as he (Raja) knows all facts and figures more prominently than his counsels.

Raja also tried to show some flip-flops in the statements by the investigating agency in courts. The former telecom minister said, while the CBI in trial court had said that they had completed their investigation, in the apex court, they said that they have been continuing investigation in the 2G spectrum scam.

Raja along with DMK MP Kanimozhi and several other top officials of many telecom companies have been arrested and have been lodged in Delhi's Tihar jail in connection with the telecom scam.
