UPA in trouble;Inspired by Dussehra,Prez to kill all demons?

New Delhi, Oct 5: President Pratibha Patil on Wednesday, Oct 5 wished people on Dussehra which will be celebrated nation-wide on Thursday. The president stated that Dussehra has the spirit to inspire people to work "whole heartedly".

The President also reminded the people the symbol of the festival while stating, "Dussehra celebrates the victory of Good over Evil." Citing Mrs Patil's remark, many started asking - now will she hold the bat to uproot all corruption from the nation being inspired by Dussehra?

The UPA government, which has been entangled with several scams, especially the 2G spectrum scam, faced tremendous pressure after an RTI report unearthed Pranab Mukherjee's statement on P Chidambaram over the telecom scam.

It seems that after the meeting with Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, the finance minister and home minister have managed to solve the spat between them.

Pratibha Patil did not actively take part in handling such crisis situation so far. Now, will she take up the issue to clean UPA's tainted image which has been marred by several scam allegations?

However, showing her regards to the people of the nation, the president said, "May the ensuing festival be a time to celebrate our unity as a nation as also to work whole heartedly for the betterment of the nation."
