Modi not to attend BJP national executive meet?
Sources said that Modi will observe fast during Navratri and does not want to travel out of the state during that time.
The BJP national executive meet is expected to discuss various corruption allegations that have arised during the UPA regime. Moreover, the meet may discuss on preparations for senior leader L.K. Advani's yatra against corruption.
Meanwhile, Advani's yatra can be considered as a platform to grab the centre stage again in the party in the run up to 2014 Loksabha election. Narendra Modi is also one of the key contenders for BJP's choice for the prime ministerial candidate and his absence may raise questions in the party.
